In Mecklenburg County, Alliance Health serves as the Tailored Plan and the local management entity / managed care organization for behavioral health and substance use services. For many Charlotte-area residents with significant behavioral health needs, Alliance Health is the entity that coordinates their NC Medicaid addiction benefits.
