Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino

Co-Founder and Recovery Ambassador

Mike Sorrentino, widely known as Mike "The Situation" from his time on MTV's Jersey Shore, is the co-founder of The Archangel Centers and one of the most visible recovery advocates in the United States. His story is not a brochure version of recovery. He lived addiction in public, faced legal consequences in public, and built his sobriety in public. Today he maintains over 10 years of active recovery and channels that lived experience into the program he built.

Lauren Sorrentino

Co-Founder, Family and Alumni Programs

Lauren Sorrentino co-founded The Archangel Centers and built its family programming track from the ground up. She stood on the family side of recovery for years before Archangel existed, watching a system that largely told the people who love someone in treatment to wait by the phone. That experience shaped the program she designed: one that integrates family care throughout treatment rather than bolting it on as an afterthought.

Dr. Justin Skolnick, DO

Medical Director

Dr. Justin Skolnick, DO, serves as Medical Director at The Archangel Centers, overseeing all medical dimensions of client care. His training spans emergency medicine and behavioral health, a combination that matters in addiction treatment: the ability to assess a patient quickly and accurately, and the clinical foundation to manage the psychiatric complexity that so often underlies substance use.

Managing Partner

Ian Treacy serves as one of two Managing Partners at The Archangel Centers, sharing operational leadership with Samantha Hewett. His work is the infrastructure that makes clinician-led care possible at scale: the business functions, insurance relationships, and strategic decisions that most clients never see but that determine whether they can actually access treatment.

Samantha Hewett

Managing Partner

Samantha Hewett serves as one of two Managing Partners at The Archangel Centers, sharing operational leadership with Ian Treacy. Her domain is the day-to-day reality of running two licensed addiction treatment facilities: facility buildout and site management, regulatory compliance and licensure, staffing infrastructure, and the operational consistency that keeps both the Tinton Falls and Charlotte locations running to the same standard.

Trevor Eyerkuss

Program Director

Trevor Eyerkuss serves as Program Director at The Archangel Centers, overseeing day-to-day operations across all outpatient levels of care: PHP, IOP, and standard OP. He came to this role from the inside of the disease. Trevor brings over 10 years of lived recovery experience following a decade-long struggle with addiction, and that history shapes how he runs the program and how he shows up for the people in it.

Lindsay Seslar

Director of Admissions and Communications

Lindsay Seslar oversees admissions and communications at The Archangel Centers. Her work begins at the point most people find hardest: that first phone call. She manages the 24/7 admissions line and has built her team around the understanding that the person on the other end of that call has usually been thinking about making it for weeks. That window requires care, not process.
