Trevor Eyerkuss, Program Director at Archangel Centers

Trevor Eyerkuss

Program Director

"The day-to-day feel of the program is what determines whether clients keep showing up. That feel is my job."

Trevor Eyerkuss serves as Program Director at The Archangel Centers, overseeing day-to-day operations across all outpatient levels of care: PHP, IOP, and standard OP. He came to this role from the inside of the disease. Trevor brings over 10 years of lived recovery experience following a decade-long struggle with addiction, and that history shapes how he runs the program and how he shows up for the people in it.

His responsibilities include managing the daily operations and group programming schedule, engaging directly with clients to identify issues early and keep them connected to care, coordinating with admissions and clinical teams on level-of-care transitions, and maintaining the culture and feel that determine whether people keep showing up. That last point is not incidental. Treatment outcomes depend heavily on whether clients stay in the program long enough for it to work, and the texture of daily experience is what drives retention.

Trevor has spoken openly about his recovery on the Core Energy Experience podcast and within the broader recovery community. He is based in Long Branch, NJ, and stays connected to his community through involvement with Jetty Surf Shop and the Long Branch Ocean Rescue Squad.
